Finding Startling Beauty in the most Ordinary Places.

"A Sensitive plant in a garden grew
and the young winds fed it with silver dew
and it opened its fan-like leaves to the light
and closed them beneath the kissed of night."

"The Sensitive Plant
by Percy Bysshe Shelly,1820

This poem expresses much better then I will ever be able to what I would like to focus my  work and my blog on in the New Year.   Finding amazing beauty in the most ordinary of places.

  2. Love this poem Nancy!
As I look out on my garden (when the snow melts that is) I am sure this will come to mind.

You know, your beautiful vases actually make me think of a wonderful garden coated with a soft layer of snow.
